Class Description

Ashtanga Yoga is the ancient system of yoga passed down through Sri T. Krishnamacharya. Ashtanga involves synchronizing the breath with a progressive series of postures---building a sequence that produces intense internal heat and a purifying sweat to detoxify muscles and organs. Beyond a strong, flexible body and calm mind, there are multiple levels of health benefits in this progressive process of building a personal practice. It is intended to eventually be memorized, allowing one to more fully experience the practice as a moving meditation. Students may be practicing at different levels. Practitioners will receive expert guidance from a leading figure of the Ashtanga practice here in Indianapolis and beyond. You will receive instructions for accessing virtual ZOOM classes in your registration email!

Cancellation Policy

All purchases are final sale, non-refundable, and non-transferable, no exceptions. You may not share or transfer class credits to another person or account. Although we do not allow for class cancellations for online classes, you can reschedule your booked class up to 1 hour before the class starts. Please note: Your teachers put time and energy into preparing class for you. Of course we understand that life can happen fast, but please do your best not to cancel last second if you can help it.
