About the Event
Let's flow together in the morning under the sun (before it gets too hot) in a place where we can all be together and have a shared experience. This is a 75 minute level 2 class to allow us time to settle in, breathe, and get into our practice, and leave us some time for a restful savasana.
This will be a vinyasa flow style class where we will feel our connection to the earth and explore our connection with the body through the breath. In vinyasa, we link our movements with our breath which can feel fast paced at times. Linking our movement with our breath puts the mind into a meditative state and allows the breath to anchor the mind and guide your practice. What is a level 2 class? This is for the moderate to intermediate pracitioner or experienced beginners who has some exposure to yoga and understanding of basic yoga terms and poses. Only some modifications and variations are provided. We will not be doing any advanced inversions (going upside down).
Bring a friend, and let's have some fun. There is limited availability for this class. I am only accepting 20 registrations, so book while you can!
General class structure: We will begin with a meditation, warm up, then move through three vinyasa sequences. We will then cool down during some grounding and seated postures, and then enjoy a savasana to calm the mind and simply enjoy the sun, wind, and earthly elements on our body.
Location: Broad Ripple Park Indianapolis IN.
Weather: I will be watching the weather. If it is bad weather and not great to practice yoga, the event will be canceled and you will receive a full refund.
